Subwoofer Science "On Love"

Valentine's Day 2010:
Subwoofer Science released a collaborative project where the three of us submitted beats or songs that had to do with some aspect of "love". It started out as a contest submission that we were going to participate in (with a visual element courtesy of one of Boom88's friends) but we never completed the visual part. The concept was to create a track divided into 3 parts but all on the same theme. "You Know What Love Is..." became the first experimental track and was added as the last track on our EP.

I suggested extending the concept to include more tracks. Since it was my idea to extend it into it's own little project, Ryan and Boom agreed to give creative control over to me and sent me their contributions. When it was finished, the one 3-part track on knowing what love was became three more 3-part tracks on knowing what love ain't, what it could be and what it wouldn't be. An innovative concept where we all delved into different aspects of love, falling in and out, building self-esteem, learning to grow from hurt and moving on in the form of instrumentals and songs that we've created individually. This of course, was an attempt to showcase more of the variety that makes up Subwoofer Science since the three of us are aspiring producers as well as lyricists. It is my hope that we'll continue this same trend on other topics one day.
